Returning Initaited Men (RIM)
If you have already been initiated in an Illuman Men’s Rites of Passage but would like to return to support new initiates and to continue with your own spiritual journey, then please consider joining us for the Returning Initiated Men (RIM) Program at the Illinois Men’s Rites of Passage 2024.
You are invited to the Returning of Initiated Men at the Men’s Rites of Passage. Be present to witness and bless the men and their transformation on the Rites at Pilgrim Park Retreat Center on Saturday & Sunday of the M.R.O.P. Re-connect with your fellow initiated brothers on this retreat within a retreat.
The Returning Initiated Men’s Program is a two-day program.
The RIM Program includes the following:
• Spending the night at Pilgrim Park
• Celebration of the Initiation Rites on Saturday & Sunday
• Opportunity to assist with the setup for the banquet meal celebrating initiation.
• Meditation / Wandering / Ritual

RIM details
Although you cannot be initiated twice, this two day program allows you to continue your journey and support the new men experiencing initiation. The community of men who have been initiated is growing and your connection and support is vital. We are all in this together!
The MROP component for RIM (Returning Initiated Men) starts on Saturday August 10 @ 12:00 PM and will conclude at the MROP closing ritual Sunday, August 11 @ 3:00 PM. Please do not arrive before 12:00 PM on Saturday. As you might recall, this is the day the men are sent into the wilderness. You are invited to be there and to prayerfully support the initiation of a new group of men. We are all there for them rather than for ourselves!
The RIM (Returning Initiated Men) component will include ritual, teaching, prayer, and an opportunity to hold Sacred Space for initiates. You will be present for the final rites of the new initiates and for the campfire celebration following the rites. On Sunday you will be part of the closing address and liturgy.
It is imperative that you reserve your place in the RIM program by the deadline date of August 2, 2024. There is a cost of $75.00 which covers your lodging and dinner on Saturday evening, as well as Sunday breakfast and lunch. Please be sure to RSVP by completing the RIM registration form and submitting it with your payment of $75 by August 2, 2024.
