“Our Wild God” Exploring the Masculine Spiritual Journey

  • Carmelite Spiritual Center 8419 Bailey Road Darien, IL, 60561 United States (map)

Sponsored by Illuman of Illinois and St. Thomas Men

  • Are you challenged being a man in today’s world? Do you wonder what role God plays in your life?

  • Would you like to be in an environment with other men to discuss our challenges and faith?

  • Do you wonder about the stages of our masculinity and being a man as they develop throughout our lives?

Three days of discovery exploring the parts of us that we have not paid attention to, using the four major masculine archetypes:  King, Lover, Warrior, and Magician, and including the Loyal Soldier. We are complicated and often confusing beings and sometimes we get disconnected from our inherent masculinity. There will be presentations, quiet time, meaningful sharing in council, and drumming, to help awaken us. We are not alone on this journey. Come and share your wisdom and experience with other men.
